A Few Days Apart from the Ordinary
Our Castle in Scotland
For four nights, Glenapp Castle will belong entirely to our closest friends and family. The days are intentionally unhurried, with time to explore the grounds, settle beside the fire, wander the coast and enjoy the rare pleasure of having nowhere else to be.
Breakfast and dinner will be shared each day. Some hours will be planned, while others are deliberately left open for rest, exploration and whatever the Scottish weather happens to inspire.
Arrival Day
The Castle Doors Open
The journey begins in Glasgow, where our private coach will gather everyone for the drive through the Scottish countryside to Glenapp. By evening, the fires will be lit and dinner will be waiting.
Glasgow International Airport
Guest Arrival
Please arrive at Glasgow International Airport no later than 2:00 PM.
Guests should collect all luggage, clear customs and be ready to meet the group before the coach departs. We recommend allowing a generous buffer when selecting flights, particularly for international connections.
Private Transportation
Coach to Glenapp
Our private coach departs Glasgow International Airport promptly at 3:00 PM.
The drive to Glenapp Castle takes approximately two hours, depending on traffic and weather. Settle in, enjoy the scenery and watch the city slowly give way to the Ayrshire countryside.

Rooms will be assigned in advance. Take time to unpack, explore and make yourself at home.
Glenapp is ours for the weekend. Wander the drawing rooms, find the library, step into the gardens or simply enjoy a quiet moment before dinner.
The First Gathering
Welcome Dinner
Our first evening together begins with dinner inside the castle.
Join us for a relaxed welcome dinner as everyone settles into Glenapp. Exact timing and dining-room details will be shared closer to the wedding.
A Day at Glenapp
Wander, Explore & Stay Awhile
Friday is intentionally spacious. Begin with breakfast, then spend the day enjoying the castle, the grounds and any optional activities that call to you.
Morning
Breakfast at the Castle
Begin the morning slowly with breakfast before setting out for the day.
Breakfast is provided each morning of the stay. Exact service times will be included in the final guest itinerary.
Daytime
Explore Glenapp
Wander through the gardens, settle into the library, explore the castle grounds or simply enjoy a quiet afternoon.
Guests may choose to participate in optional activities or enjoy the estate independently. Additional activity details, availability and pricing will be shared separately.
Evening
Dinner Together
We will gather again for dinner and another evening inside the castle.
Dinner is provided. Guests should plan to wear cocktail attire unless otherwise noted in the final itinerary.
Saturday, October 23
The Wedding Day
A ceremony beneath the Scottish sky, dinner by candlelight and dancing deep into the night.
A Quiet Beginning
Breakfast
Breakfast will be available for guests before wedding preparations begin.
Please allow the wedding party privacy and preparation time during the morning. Guest gathering instructions will be included in the final itinerary.
The Ceremony
Michael & Brittney
The ceremony is planned for the castle grounds, surrounded by autumn gardens and the Ayrshire countryside.
Should the weather have other plans, the ceremony will move to Glenapp’s Victorian Glasshouse. Guests will be directed to the appropriate location on the wedding day.
Raise a Glass
Cocktail Hour
Join us for drinks, conversation and the first moments of celebration.
Wedding-day alcohol is provided. The exact cocktail-hour location will depend on the weather and final event design.
Candlelight & Conversation
Dinner & Reception
Dinner will be followed by speeches, celebration and an evening inside the castle.
Dietary restrictions and food allergies submitted through the RSVP form will be coordinated directly with Glenapp Castle.
When Dinner Ends
Dancing & After Party
The music continues, the castle grows a little stranger and no one has anywhere else to be.
Details for the after party will be revealed closer to the wedding.

Sunday, October 24
One More Day Together
No early departure. No hurried goodbyes. Sunday is ours to enjoy the castle, recover from the night before and spend one final full day together.

Return to the dining room when you are ready and ease into the day.

Explore & Unwind
Revisit the gardens, enjoy optional activities or find a quiet place to spend the afternoon.
Final Evening
Farewell Dinner
One final dinner together before the journey home begins.
Cocktail attire is recommended. Exact timing will be included in the final guest itinerary.
We hope Sunday feels less like the end of a wedding and more like one last chapter before everyone returns home.
Monday, October 25
Until Next Time
Breakfast, packed bags and one last look at the castle before the coach returns to Glasgow.
One final morning at Glenapp.
Gather luggage and prepare for departure.
Departing Glenapp around midday.
Please Book an Evening Flight
The private coach will leave Glenapp around midday. Guests should allow time for the drive to Glasgow, airport check-in, baggage drop and security before departure.
